Check out the Big Bog State Recreation Area, the largest peat bog in the lower 48 states, the Three Island Lake, an undiscovered angler’s paradise, and the Lady Slipper Scenic Byway which offers scenic views of the forest, brings you to campgrounds, beaches, trails and an interesting piece of our country’s history: CCC Camp Rabideau, located 7 miles south of Blackduck. It is the most intact CCC camp in the United States and in now a National Historic Landmark.
